If you are using a Windows computer, generally an upgrade of the OS purges all connection information out of the system. Which means you have to connect the printer again. In any case, during the initial setup, you can use the following steps to connect or Add printer. Regain access to the HP Printer Assistant or simply download the tool from the HP website.
Within the tool, go to Printer Setup & Software and click on Connect a new printer. Thereafter at the prompt choose Connection Type -> follow instructions for 123.hp.com/setup.
